College of Science at Chung Yuan Christian University Launches “Star Corridor”
– Creating an Immersive Space and Astronomy Learning Environment
On the 19th, the Space Science and Technology Research Center of the College of Science at Chung Yuan Christian University held the unveiling ceremony for the “Star Corridor” exhibition space on the first floor of the Science Building. The “Star Corridor” is a scientific learning environment planned and designed by renowned astronomer Dr. Sun Wei-hsin. It features large multimedia screens to create a spectacular and awe-inspiring immersive setting, showcasing the beauty of the starry sky and the wonders of the universe! Coinciding with “Space Year 2026” next year, the Space Science and Technology Research Center at Chung Yuan Christian University will use the “Star Corridor” as a platform to organize a series of educational and outreach activities. These initiatives will connect the historical stories and cutting-edge developments of space science, inspiring more students, faculty, and the public to gaze at the stars and explore the cosmos.
